Six-hundred fifty students completed the 36th Annual 2010 Sams Valley Mini Marathon on Friday, October 29th. The 5,000 meter (3.1 miles) race was won by Dallas Howard from Mae Richardson Elementary, but just seven seconds behind was CPE’s Jantz Tostenson. The winning time was just over 21 minutes.

Seven of the top ten girls were CPE kids including three from Room 15. Congrats to Adrien B. (3rd), Martha B. (4th), and Mackenzie R. (5th). I’m tremendously impressed with the level of character and commitment demonstrated by all the students. What a great job!
