Tues, April 14

Welcome to Tuesday, kids. Good job in yesterday’s Zoom meeting. Thank you for being respectful to Officer Ashwill. Maybe she’ll remember that if she has to pull you over for driving too fast in high school.

Today you have 3 assignments in Classwork and 5 tasks here. On the Platy, be sure to listen to another chapter of Room of Shadows. If you’re behind, it doesn’t take that long to catch up. Also, choose a different PE workout, even if you think it’s lame. Report about it on the End of Day Quiz. You also have an important History entry having to do with slavery and the Supreme Court and I’ve also posted a Drawing 101 Challenge. (Take a pic when you’re done and share it in Classroom or Docs).

For Math, read page 22 in your math textbook, watch MY video about converting fractions to decimals and then do Worksheet A and Worksheet B. Both come with a key so you can check your work. For homework you have Worksheet C and Worksheet D, but you only have to do the left side of each one. Be sure to work hard on these things and make sure you understand it. A math test is coming soon!

In Classwork you have a Perfect Paragraph rough draft to complete, an article about blasting off to Mars in Storyworks, and your End-of-the Day Review, which now includes your reading log.

Finally, don’t forget your DARE Family Talk #1 and your Chapter Book reading project, which is due in 2 weeks!
