Today in Classroom you have your Checklist, a Storyworks reading activity with a quiz, DARE Family Talk #2, and your End-of-Day Review. Our interactive thread includes a clicker question and Super Sentences.

Here on The Platy you have your literary terms journal entry, your history entry, and Room of Shadows Ch. 21 & 22. You also have a math assignment (putting fractions with like numerators in order; it’s easy, just different size pieces of pizza, so all I have is a video; tomorrow’s lesson is the hard one so I’ll do Zoom lesson then). For classwork you have Worksheet A and for homework you have Worksheet B. If you don’t understand something, come back to the thread in Classroom and ASK FOR HELP.

You also need to try another PE workout video. When you go to the PE page, you’ll see which video you voted off the island. If you go there at 10:00 AM, you can join the Trail Blazers interactive workout. If you’re lucky, it’ll be the Blazer Dancers!

Finally, we have a 1 p.m. Zoom meeting. It’s supposed to be pet day, so bring your favorite pet (please, no piranhas), and if you have questions about math or any of the other assignments, or about the progress reports I sent home last night, that’s the time to bring them up. Work hard today. I know all this online stuff is boring compared to the real classroom, but it’s important that you keep learning so that you’re ready for middle school. Your middle school teachers aren’t going to make things easier in September just because we’ve shut school down. You need to be ready.
