Happy Friday! And it’s an easy one! You have 4 assignments on The Platy (history, PE, read aloud, and cursive) and 4 assignments in Classroom (reading, math, and reading log, plus a heads up about your chapter book project). That’s it!
CURSIVE: on notebook paper or in your composition journal, write this Roald Dahl quote in your best cursive. If you don’t remember how to form a letter, Google it. Show your final draft to a parent. If he or she is satisfied with your effort, you’re done! Here’s the quote:
“I think probably kindness is my number one attribute in a human being. I’ll put it before any of the things like courage, or bravery, or generosity, or anything else… Kindness.” ~ Roald Dahl
There’s still time to buy a yearbook. All you have to do is go to the CPE Facebook page and follow the instructions. Also, Mrs. Hargis needs photos. Here’s a letter to your parents asking for help collecting some.
Next week we’ll be starting our all-new DARE program. It’s called “Family Talks.” There are five lessons in all over 5 weeks. Here’s a letter from Officer Ashwill explaining it. I’m sending this to your folks via email as well.
All the stuff from your desks and cubbies can be picked up beginning Tuesday of next week. You can pick them up in the bus loop any day you wish. If you wish to have them delivered to one of the bus stops, you just have to let me know (either on Classroom or by email).
Have a wonderful weekend! Practice social distancing and help us overcome this pandemic!
