Congrats to Garrett V. and Scarlette T. for earning Student-of-the-Month honors at Friday’s assembly! Both students demonstrate strong work ethic, excellent behavior, and kindness. These are the primary traits we’re looking for when selecting students for awards.

Congratulations also needs to go out to all the kids who participated in the 2019 Sams Valley Mini Marathon.

Nearly 800 fourth and fifth graders from the school district’s five elementary schools competed. This year the event was won by CPE 5th grader Reece Hvall. He completed the 5K course in 20 minutes and 9 second. The girls’ race was won Jaylynn Ontiveros, also from CPE.
