There’s been a ton going on in class lately. Be sure to check out the next two posts about our performance of The Necklace and our Adopt-a-Street clean-up of Hopkins Street. Also take a moment to look at the student webpages. The kids have also completed their art imitations of works by French painter Jean Leppien and their interpretations are now posted on their individual webpages. Several of the kids will have their pieces shown at the Young Artists exhibit at the Rogue Valley Mall in February.
This week we’re continuing with our nutrition unit, looking at “Indian Wars” in history class, starting new Book Clubs in language arts, and moving on to surface area of three-dimensional objects in math. Be sure to check assignment calendars for updates. Here’s the math homework for this week: Tuesday, Jan. 29th; Wednesday, Jan. 30th; Thursday, Jan. 31st. Don’t forget, there is no school on Monday, Jan. 28th, and be sure to send your kids to school well-fed, rested, and on-time so that they’re prepared to do their very best on State Tests. Thanks!
